It’s the album we have been waiting for… and Adele’s new single “Easy on Me” is set to be released on the 15th of October 2021!

Global (11 October 2021) – “Easy On Me” marks the return of Adele after a six-year hiatus. The highly anticipated song, which is expected to land on her upcoming fourth studio album as the lead single, will be released on October 15, 2021.

Apparently in the song, the singer speaks about her fraught childhood, her lost marriage and the lessons learnt and unlearnt about family, love and abandonment along the way.

Following the recent events of Adele teasing her long-awaited upcoming fourth album, on October 5, 2021, Adele took it to Twitter, announcing that she would be dropping a brand new song, sharing the teaser trailer to this track.

The first verse of the song was played during Adele’s Instagram Live on October 9, 2021.

There ain’t no gold in this river
That I’ve been washing my hands in forever
I know there is hope in these waters
But I can’t bring myself to swim
When I am drowning in the silence
Baby, let me in

Go easy on me, baby
I was still a child
Didn’t get the chance to
Feel the world around me
