To celebrate being taken off the “Red” list, Emirates just put a “flight attendant” on top of the highest building in the world!

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (09 August 2021) – Emirates have taken their advertising to new heights by literally putting a Flight Attendant on the top of the Burj Khalifa.

To celebrate the fact that the UAE has been moved from “Red” to “Amber” and can now fly to the UK, the airline hired Nicole Smith-Ludvik – an American skydiver and stuntwoman – to represent flight attendants and the airline, while shooting an advert on the top of the tallest building in the world.

The Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its inauguration in 2009, with a total height of 829.8 metres, but Smith-Ludvik did not bat an eyelid while shooting the 33-second video.

“This is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing and exciting stunts I’ve ever done. A big shout out to Emirates Airlines for your creative marketing idea! It was a pleasure being a part of the team.”

UAE-based helicopter and drone filming company Choppershoot were used to film the brave stuntwoman taking on the highest building said this was a project that they will remember forever!

“Being part of such a special project – not only for the fact that we were trusted to help bring this to life (yes, this is very, very real) but also what it means for so many families who have been separated from their families between here in Dubai and the UK – is definitely a project we’ll remember forever.”
