If you are dreaming of a holiday somewhere far away, we have the perfect movie watchlist to help you get to your perfect destination.
Global (28 September 2020) – All international holidays are pretty-much not happening this year so if you are in need of a holiday but can’t even leave the house, these movies are perfect for escaping reality for a few hours.
Escapism is a very real thing, it is the tendency to seek distraction and relief from unpleasant realities, especially by seeking entertainment or engaging in fantasy. From playing video games to reading books or binge-watching series and movies, we all have different ways in which we escape the draining day-to-day reality that is 2020.
We are in need of a holiday and while a game or book would be just as effective, we need to see the beautiful destinations we are missing out on and what better way to do that than to watch movies set in beautiful places.
Many of these movies have great story-lines but it is the celebration of the destinations in which they are set that really makes us happy.
So get your best holiday hat on, salt your popcorn and get ready to go on holiday right there on your couch.
