If you have pets, they probably love being allowed to cuddle on the couch; for the Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need, they now have their own couch to get cosy on.

George, South Africa (17 July 2023) – We don’t know about your home, but our dogs love a couch cuddle in the evenings and they get to have them. There is no such thing as no dogs on the couch. Now the same applies for the pooches at Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need (ODIN) – the dogs get to have as much couch time as they want, thanks to a generous donation.

The Eden branch in George recently received a big family-sized donation that didn’t even make it into the shelter before it started being used. Every animal deserves some cosy time on comfy chairs, whether at home or in a shelter.

These pampered pooches are loving their new spoil!

“Thank you to the Du Plooy family .. as you can see .. the couch isn’t even out of the parking area and it’s already in use 🤪🤪🤪

One of the greatest gifts you can pass ODIN’S way is a couch or a chair for our dogs and cats ❤️❤️❤️ THANK YOU THANK YOU”

The charity has a Mandela Day wishlist, so if you would like to lend a helping hand, you can do so here. They are hoping to collect 67 of each of the following useful meds for dogs: Bravecto, Simparicas and Nexgaurd. You can reach out here to help.
