South Africa’s favourite good news podcast is turning up the volume… and the cameras. “Good Things with Brent Lindeque” is back for 2025, now in full video, with Nando’s bringing the fire and FLAME Studios setting the stage for a season filled with heart, heroes and hope.

 

Johannesburg, South Africa (11 April 2025) – South Africa’s leading good news podcast, “Good Things with Brent Lindeque”, is back in 2025… bigger, better and now in full video! With the incredible support of Nando’s, the series enters an exciting new chapter, bringing all the heartwarming, inspiring stories you love to both your ears and eyes.

From the start of his podcast journey on CliffCentral in 2014, to the Jacaranda podcast (JacaPod) and beyond, Brent Lindeque’s podcasts have championed hope and positivity, showcasing the extraordinary stories of individuals making a tangible difference in the world. From interviews with legends like Ladysmith Black Mambazo and the late Mark Pilgrim, to powerful conversations with change-makers such as Emelda Masango, Mbali Ndhlovu, and Mandy Wiener, the podcasts have consistently been a masterclass in inspiration.

In 2020, Lindeque went independent and launched “Good Things with Brent Lindeque”, bringing his platform to new audiences with high-profile interviews with South African icons like Thuli Madonsela, Greg Kriek, and Candice Mama, along with having the opportunity to meet internationally recognised figures such as Jessie J, Enrique Iglesias, Trevor Noah, and Oprah.

“Good Things with Brent Lindeque” was recently selected by FeedSpot as Number 12 in the Top 100 South African Podcasts and Number 8 in the Top 25 African News Podcasts. These recognitions highlight the podcast’s growing influence and its powerful role in delivering uplifting, positive content to listeners across the globe.

Now, in 2025, “Good Things with Brent Lindeque” is poised to take things to the next level, and is being supported by Nando’s.

The show’s new video format will bring Lindeque’s conversations to life, allowing audiences to experience the stories and personalities of his incredible guests like never before. The new format will be filmed at the iconic FLAME Studios, located in the heart of Constitution Hill – a place rich with history and symbolism, perfectly aligned with the themes of courage, hope, and resilience that the podcast celebrates.

Filming for the 2025 season began in April 2025, with the first episode dropping next week. A new episode will be released every week, offering a new perspective on hope, courage and the extraordinary impact of individuals in our world.
