Autistic artist Clayden Botes is back at it again with another breathtaking creation, and he’s using a one-of-a-kind canvas: a horse! All this for the Iris House Children’s Hospice in what is a super wholesome dose of caring creativity in action:
Western Cape, South Africa (18 June 2024) — Talented Autistic artist Clayden Botes is horsing around in the best way thanks to a new creative project he is currently undertaking for the Iris House Children’s Hospice.
The 16-year-old creative first hopped onto Good Things Guy’s radar in 2021 when his mom Antoinette began sharing her son’s world of creations online. Needless to say, people were blown away by the teen’s talent.
Since then, Clayden has grown into his talent with his business, Clayden’s Designs, positively flourishing! But beyond business, Clayden’s creative presence is also a place of support for those part of the Autism community—inspiring people by showing them what can happen when you focus on what people can do versus what they struggle with.
For one of his latest creative projects, Clayden’s taken on a unique canvas—a horse. With his signature eclectic style, Clayden is hard at work painting the piece with all kinds of scenery and characters as he continues his quest to make the Iris House Children’s hospice proud (something we have no doubt he’ll achieve).
You can keep up with the artist’s progress here.
Meanwhile in other epic art news that made us say ‘wow’, graffiti artist Giffy has given a wall in Scottburgh beach a sea-loving makeover in celebration of World Ocean Day. Take a look!
