All the feels: Take a look inside the beautiful KFC Wedding!

A South African couple who went viral with a KFC marriage proposal, finally enjoyed their dream wedding after strangers helped to arrange the big day.

South Africa – Hector Mkansi and Nonhlanhla Soldaat officially got married in 2012 but received pledges from hundreds of brands across South Africa to help fund their dream wedding after their heartwarming #KFCproposal video broke the internet in 2019.

The couple had a small ceremony after meeting in 2010 and have lived together ever since but pressure from the church has led them to plan a formal wedding, and that is why Mkansi proposed again to the love of his life to give her the wedding of her dreams… and his KFC proposal ensured that they would get so much more!

The video which caused the nation to feel-good about love again was originally uploaded to Twitter by Kateka Malobola and then by KFC South Africa who asked Mzansi to search for the couple.

“Please help us find this beautiful couple,” the Twitter account posted on Thursday. “DM us any leads; there might be a Finger-Lickin’ Good surprise in it for you too … We love love.”

At first, trolls made fun of the couple, but then something magical happened as the nation shared an outpouring of positivity and love and then brands jumped on board to offer donations from luggage to drinks at their reception and even DJ Fresh as their in-house music master on their celebration day.

And on the 31st of December, the couple finally walked down the aisle!

Take a look at their beautiful day below:
