Why is the “Is He Not Human” video trending again? Well, because sometimes we all need a reminder that kindness counts.

Essex, United Kingdom (10 February 2022) – Starbucks reportedly refused a homeless man a table after a generous customer bought him a meal, and although this video is from 2019, it has started trending again… reminding us all that kindness counts!

According to “Independent”, Sajid Kahloon, a business owner in Southend-on Sea, Essex, bought the homeless man a meal worth £8.45 after he spotted the man looking hungry and “searching for food”.

Mr Kahloon confronted staff after they asked the homeless man to leave the premises – despite eating a sandwich and chocolate cake that had been paid for in-store.

After the video went viral, Starbucks apologised in an official statement: “We want every customer to have a positive experience, and we apologise that we did not meet that expectation in this instance. The interaction on video is not indicative of the environment we strive to create.”

Why is the video trending again? Well, because sometimes we all need a reminder that kindness counts, and maybe it takes one person to stand up and remind us!
