Ballet Classes That Give Back: Joburg Mall Offers New Extra Murals For Kids That Have Lost Out Due to COVID!

Johannesburg, South Africa (02 February 2021) – A Johannesburg Mall is offering safe physical distanced Ballet classes to kids who have lost their extra-mural activities due to COVID.

Looking for extra-murals for the kids in a safe, wide-open environment? Well, Fourways Mall in Johannesburg has got you covered!

The Mall has partnered with Mzansi Ballet and CuDanSA to bring you and your little ones professional, fun and safe ballet lessons, for boys and girls! Every Saturday, starting 6 March, they will be hosting a series of classes for different age groups.

Tickets are only R20 per student, with all proceeds supporting children from historically disadvantaged backgrounds through dance so not only will your kids have fun, but you will be helping other families in the process.

Remember, space is limited due to COVID-19 safety protocols. All sanitising protocols will be in place, masks mandatory and limited seating will be available for parents. No need to bring your own mat, though you are most welcome to.

To answer some frequently asked questions:

  • No termly or monthly commitments.
  • No admin or pre-registration fees.
  • Week to week bookings apply.
  • The area is closed off with a fixed balustrade all the way around with only one entry and exit point.
  • The Dis-Chem court is not located in front of Dis-Chem but rather near this store and used as a landmark.
  • All proceeds from ticket sales are donated to supporting dance.
