K9 Police officer Tek helped his human partner rescue three abandoned puppies. The partners were on patrol when they spotted the pups and knew they needed to help.
Tek is a K9 Police Officer for the Georgia Department of Public Safety. Tek and his human partner Trooper Ennis were on patrol of an area notorious for being a stolen car dumping ground when they spotted the trio of very young puppies sitting on a patch of bare ground.
“The Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) reports that they were dumped in a briar patch and left to die. But then the K9 doggie Tek stepped in and saved the day.”
Tek and Trooper Ennis rushed to the puppies to check they were okay. The three puppies were terrified so Tek and Trooper Ennis took them back to the safety of the Georgia Department headquarters.
“The fact that a bigger canine was with them in a car offered the babies much needed comfort and reassurance that finally they were in good hands.”
As soon as the puppies arrived at the headquarters they were adopted into loving homes by the staff of the Georgia Department of Public Safety.
“A trooper never knows what he may encounter on a shift, but a day with puppies is a good day”
These three puppies have found their happy ever after thanks to Tek and Trooper Ennis. Great work to the awesome K9 team.
