Company designs 6 helpful posters for South African parents during the lockdown, in all 11 official languages, as part of a collaboration with the United Nations.
South Africa (08 April 2020) – BreadCrumbs, a Behavioural Linguistics company hope that by creating posters in different languages, more people will engage with important messages. The South African company teamed up with the United Nations (UN) to share a positive message with parents during the lockdown.
BreadCrumbs is South Africa’s only Behavioural Linguistics firm – combining sociolinguistics, psychology and marketing principles to create personalised and persuasive communication. They are using their expertise to do some good and share important messages with as many South Africans as possible.
The parental tips feature on 6 posters and each poster is available in one of the 11 official South African languages. Previously, they created posters about the importance of handwashing during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can read more about those here.

The six tips provided by BreadCrumbs are:

- Make new Routines.
- Encourage good Behaviour.
- Keep Calm.
- Be honest and Open.
As an added bonus, they included a poster that details the rules of lockdown and when you are allowed to leave your home.
