The Ridge Vet and Pet Spa shared a moving image of missing Sheru being reunited with his mom after being found 8km away from home. Sheru had been missing for 6 days.
The vet shared the image to highlight two causes, the first being the importance of the microchip and the second, sharing the missing posters of animals to help raise awareness.
“This is a photo of an owner reunited with her dog that went missing on Monday, 13 July 2020 and was found Saturday, 18 July 2020.
Sheru was found nearly 8km from his home… So next time you scroll past the “annoying” missing pet post, remember this pic, this is the difference you can make by just clicking the share button.”
