Dr Musa Mthombeni and his wife, former Miss SA Liesl Laurie – the unofficial residents of “Love Lives Here”- are making Mzansi swoon and seriously rethink their DM game after proving that sometimes, your happily ever after is just a well-sent message away!
Randburg, South Africa (20 June 2025) – If you know anything about Dr Musa Mthombeni and his stunning wife, former Miss SA Liesl Laurie, you’ll know that these lovebirds are permanent residents of “Love Lives Here” and celebrate anything and everything about their relationship.
In a recent post, Musa gushed about Liesl, as he so often does, in celebration of their 46-monthiversary.
“Another month, another monthiversary. Happy 46 months married, Liesl Standiwe Laurie-Mthombeni,” Musa wrote.
He also jokingly credited none other than Mark Zuckerberg for being a key player in connecting him with the radio and TV presenter whom he now finds joy in giving foot rubs and doing life with.
“If you hadn’t responded to that dm many months ago, today would be a Wednesday, but because you did, it’s our monthiversary. It is because you replied to that DM that I now get the chance to give you foot rubs and kiss your ouchies when you get hurt.
“It is because you replied to that DM that I now get to wake you up when you sleep on the couch at 18:30 and vehemently deny being asleep when even the TV characters know you were sleeping!
“Thank you, Mark Zuckerberg, for my wife. You’ll forever be famous.”
Musa’s post won the hearts and laughs of many South Africans online who admired their relationship, and Musa’s open adoration for Liesl. Others couldn’t help but ask for tips on how to successfully slide into the DMs, while others daydreamed about the hopes of getting themselves “their own Musa” one day. Even Liesl joined in the fun, joking about followers tagging Zuckerberg.
Banter and giggles aside, Musa’s sweet post is a delightful reminder of the importance of celebrating the small things in a relationship, making life all the more sweeter!
