Both Chris Martin of Coldplay and John Legend are using their self-isolation to put mini live concerts on for fans who are also stuck at home.
Global (18 March 2020) – John Legend was inspired to do a free live mini-concert on Instagram after hearing that Chris Martin from Coldplay did so.
We have to remember our favourite celebrities are chronic workaholics and the coronavirus has meant that many have had to cancel world tours, concerts and other events. Leaving them to spend the most time at home they have ever had to and with almost nothing exciting to do.
All that pent-up talent has to go somewhere so why not to continue entertaining fans and showing that we are not alone!
Chris Martin surprised fans by putting on a concert using Instagram Live. John Legend then took to Twitter to announce that he too would put on a little show for everyone sitting bored at home. This is all part of a challenge set by the World Health Organisation (WHO) for their #TogetherAtHome initiative.
My friend Chris Martin did a lovely little concert from home today. I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together! #TogetherAtHome https://t.co/YZ8Y1W8esc

Artists are doing solo concerts as part of “Together, at Home,” a new series of online concerts presented by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Citizen. Together, the organizations have launched a campaign called the Solidarity Response Fund that aims to raise $675 million throughout the month of April towards COVID-19 relief.
This all happened two days ago, and we are so sad we missed it, but now we are waiting in anticipation for the next artist to join the #TogetherAtHome challenge.
Who is the artist you would like to watch live via your social media? Let us know in the comment sections. We would love Adele, Taylor Swift or even Shawn Mendes.
