Born in Secunda, Mpumalanga, Masuku first enchanted audiences as Crabman in a production of “Porgy and Bess” set in Argentina. Since then, his career has been on a meteoric rise, with accolades such as a Merit Award in the 2019 SAMRO competition, the Drake Calleja Trust Award, The Oppenheimer International Scholarship, and The Countess of Munster Musical Trust Study Award under his belt.
