Nadia Neophytou the rundown

Nadia Neophytou, a well known South African journalist living in New York City has taken up running… and interviewing celebs and awesome human beings while doing it.

Nadia Neophytou is a journalist from South Africa, who lives and runs in New York City. She reports on U.S. stories for Eyewitness News in South Africa, and writes about film, music, and culture for The Sunday Times, GQ, Marie Claire, and the Mail & Guardian.

Neophytou has been the New York correspondent since December 2010 and when she’s not sitting down interviewing movie stars, she can be found running — and interviewing other runners on the run, literally, in her YouTube series called The Rundown

“I’m Nadia. I’m a journalist who moved to New York to interview celebrities and ended up falling in love with running – a sport I used to detest. That love has grown to the point where I can’t stop talking about it.

Literally.

So I present to you, The Rundown – entertainment, culture, interviews and routes to follow, all on the run.”

Most recently, Neophytou met up with South African actor Colin Moss, who’s been living in NYC, to find out more about how running plays a role in his life.

Colin’s a familiar face back home, where he’s been a regular on the big and small screen for years, but he’s steadily been picking up roles in some great shows – from Marvel’s Jessica Jones to The Deuce.

“I wanted to talk to him about working in a new country and what he likes most about New York, New York. We may have also started a little Central Park vs Prospect Park rivalry along the way…!”
