The National Geographic Kids team hope that their exciting content will engage and inspire kids about the outside world – even when they’re stuck inside.

 

South Africa (13 April 2020) – National Geographic Kids digital edition and the entire back catalogue of magazines have been made absolutely FREE for the next three months.

“Here at National Geographic Kids magazine, we understand that the nationwide lockdown due to the Coronavirus is tough on both kids and parents, and so we want to help by keeping children entertained and educated.”

The team hope that their exciting content will engage and inspire kids about the outside world – even when they’re stuck inside.

“During the challenging weeks ahead many parents like myself will be trying to keep their kids entertained at home, and I hope that National Geographic Kids will be able to help,” says the magazine’s editor, Tim Herbert. “Our aim here at NG KiDS is to make learning fun, and so I hope that families across South Africa will be able to use our magazine’s free resources to learn more about the planet and all the amazing wildlife and people on it.”

The National Geographic Kids website is also packed with fun, interactive content that will keep children busy while they’re at home, including games, facts and free school resources.
