It’s the version we didn’t know we needed… the Ndlovu Youth Choir has just released the most angelic cover of ‘Easy On Me’.

Johannesburg, South Africa (20 October 2021) – The Ndlovu Youth Choir has released a cover of Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’, and it is absolutely angelic!

After a 5-year break, Adele released a new song last Friday, breaking the record on Spotify for the most global streams in one day, and even though the song is being overplayed, we just can’t seem to get enough of it.

Yes, “Easy on Me” was being played everywhere, with some South African radio stations featuring the song over 6 times, but it was Spotify users who pushed it to the max, listening to the song almost 21 million times in just one day. The music video on Youtube had over 18 million views on the same day.

Many South African artists are also trending on social media for using the song as inspiration. DJ Snow SA – a South African DJ from the Western Cape – went viral with his remix of the song, while Lloyiso featured at number 9 on the Youtube charts, and now the Ndlovu Youth Choir’s version is rapidly gaining views.
