If you need a Valentine this year, you can find one at the Paws R Us fundraising fun-day event; there are loads of rescue pups looking for a friend on Valentine’s Day.

Kyalami, South Africa (09 February 2022) – Paws R Us is a pro-life animal shelter that cares for 150 rescue dogs. They take in unwanted, abandoned and surrendered dogs and focus on re-homing them.

Paws R Us relies on funding to remain operational; they use the money raised to support the rescues in kennels and purchase quality food for the dogs. They also pay for monthly kenneling bills and monthly rescue vet bills. The non-profit company employs kennel staff, so they are also involved in job creation.

They have teamed up with Edustreams School to celebrate their 11th birthday by hosting a Valentine’s Day Fun Day. The hope is to get families and animal lovers to join in on the fun.

Paws R Us will have obstacle courses, soccer, water games, arts and crafts, market stalls and a shady picnic area for people to enjoy snacks from home and the food stalls available.

All the funds raised on the day will go towards the 150 dogs at Paws R Us. You can meet some of the dogs up for adoption on the day and take adorable photos with them at the Valentine’s photo booth.

Anyone looking for more info can get in contact via their Facebook page or via email. PS: If you don’t have a Valentine, treat yourself!
