International Music Video

Capetonian Director Kyle Lewis debuted his first International Music Video this month as well as picked up quite a few awards at the Loeries.

Kyle Lewis made his international directorial debut on a music video for Kid Crème and Jolyon Petch. The music video was filmed in Cape Town over three days. It is called ‘Boy In The Picture’. Kid Crème is House Legend according to Arcade Content.

Kyle’s music video follows a destitute young boy as he salvages stuffed animals from a dump before escaping to a kingdom of teddies. MTV UK featured Boy In The Picture in their ‘Hottest Music Videos’ section.

The Capetonian Director has had a very productive year so far.

“At last month’s Loerie Awards, for the second year in a row, Kyle won the highest accolade awarded in the music video category: this time a Bronze for Nasty C Bad Hair.”

“He also won Gold, four Silvers, two Bronzes and a Craft at the Loeries for his brand films with Cassper Nyovest for Sanlam and King James and with Kwesta and Dabone for Volkswagen and Ogilvy Cape Town.” – Arcade Content

Destiny, Kyle’s sci-fi Cassper Nyovest music video with Goapele, trended at number one on YouTube this past August in South Africa.
