'People of the World, Spice up your life', the ultimate 90's reunion is happening!

Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Chisholm also known the Spice Girls will tour the UK in 2019!

If you grew up in the 90’s you were most likely a fan of the Spice Girls. You can ask any 90’s Spice Girls fan who they wanted to be in the girl band and they will be able to answer you without even blinking.

The Spice Girls officially formed in 1994. The group comprised Melanie Brown (“Scary Spice”), Melanie Chisholm (“Sporty Spice”), Emma Bunton (“Baby Spice”), Geri Halliwell (“Ginger Spice”), and Victoria Beckham, née Adams (“Posh Spice”). They were signed to Virgin Records and released their debut single “Wannabe” in 1996, which hit number one in 37 countries and established their global success.

Their debut album Spice sold more than 31 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album by a female group in history. Their follow-up album, Spiceworld sold over 20 million copies worldwide. The Spice Girls have sold 85 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling female group of all time, one of the best-selling pop groups of all time, and the biggest British pop success since The Beatles.

Among the highest profile acts in 1990s British popular culture, Time called them “arguably the most recognizable face” of Cool Britannia, the mid-1990s celebration of youth culture in the UK.

And they are reuniting!!!

Well four of them anyway… The Spice Girls will be getting together but without Victoria Beckham. No hard feelings Posh but you are killing our dreams!!! A full reunion would have been golden but we will make do with Sporty, Scary, Baby and Ginger.

The five-piece have reunited before for a one-off performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games but this tour will have the girls reunite for 13 performances around the UK!

They launched their new social media channels, along with a video announcing their comeback and details of how to buy tickets to their latest stadium tour.

You can see it all below. On a scale of 1 to 1000, how excited are you about this announcement?
