The Democratic Alliance have released a new campaign inspired by a brilliant Danish Advert that went viral 2 years ago.

The new Democratic Alliance (DA) 2019 Election campaign titled “Team One South Africa” was launched on the 22 September 2018. The opposition party believe that South Africa is a great country with the potential to be everything it should be.

“But we all know it has taken a wrong turn from the path laid out by Nelson Mandela. There have been too many empty promises, crime is rising, corruption is oppressing us and there is no fair access to jobs.

But there is hope.”

United behind DA Leader Mmusi Maimane’s vision of One South Africa for All, the new campaign shows South Africans from all walks of life coming together for that change.

“We refuse to give up hope and we refuse to be divided! We know that despite our differences, there is more that brings us together than keeps us apart. Together, we can build One South Africa for All!”

The DA believe that the launch of “Team One South Africa” is their chance to bring a better future for all South Africans and realise the vision of Nelson Mandela.

The campaign video was inspired by a Danish advert called “All that we share”.

A TV channel in Denmark launched “Alt Det Vi Deler” (All that we share) in January 2017. The commercial featuring 80 Danes from all walks of life, challenged attitudes of discrimination on the grounds of ethnicity in Denmark and across the world.

The participants were given 40 questions to consider before filming. Throughout the shoot they were invited to cluster according to their responses.

The film was released on the same day that President Trump issued his executive order, “Protecting the Nation From Foreign Terrorist Entry Into The United States”.

The commercial was released to celebrate the concept of a tolerant and connected society in Denmark.

  1. With you all the way! You have taken the right turn and are on the path of destiny for every person in this beautiful country. There is a hope and a future for this land.

  2. The answers are in the unity of our people. Together we can find solutions. We have proved that by the Zuma protests.
