The Two Oceans Aquarium has classes starting at a pre-school level and going all the way up to Grade 12, they even offer training for the adults interested.
The Two Oceans Aquarium is all about education, they work to educate the public that visits the aquarium as well as children with a keen interest in Marine Sciences.
They recently tweeted about the free courses they offer. We went to take a look and were really impressed by their offerings. Starting at a pre-school level, there are classes for every school grade up to grade 12. They even offer adult training and job shadowing opportunities.
Keeping our oceans clean and alive is one of the most important causes at the aquarium so it is great that they are working to educate children from such a young age. Most of the classes are offered to school groups but they also offer free courses for all ages.
You can see some of their classes below:
Individual children of all ages can take part in FREE courses from their Marine Science Academy:

- Grade 7: Learn Smart Living and learn how our lives and the environment interact
- Grade 8: Become a Marine Science Discoverer if you’re in grade 8 and learn about careers in ocean science.
- Grade 9: Become Marine Science Explorers – time to get hands-on with ocean life.
- Grade 10: Apply for our flagship Young Biologist course, and jumpstart a marine career.
