Tyla and Sean Paul just dropped a remix that’s got everyone talking. The Push 2 Start remix blends South African and Jamaican vibes into a track that’s lighting up playlists and timelines.

 

Global (17 February 2025) – South African star Tyla has done it again – this time teaming up with the legendary Sean Paul for a sizzling remix of Push 2 Start, which dropped on Friday, 14 February.

The collaboration is already setting the internet on fire, and fans can’t get enough of the electrifying blend of Afro-pop and dancehall beats.

Tyla, the rising star who has been putting South Africa on the global music map, continues to make her home country beam with pride. Speaking about the collab with Billboard, Tyla shared her excitement, “Everyone loves Sean Paul, there’s so many songs of his that I absolutely loved growing up,” she said, even breaking into the hook from his iconic 2003 hit I’m Still in Love With You.

“All those songs are so nostalgic and special and vibey. I really wanted that feeling on the song. And he’s been speaking to me about wanting to do something, so I felt like this would be the perfect thing.”

Tyla is no stranger to blending sounds from different corners of the world. She previously teamed up with Jamaican dancehall star Skillibeng and rapper Gunna on her track Jump, proving that her talent knows no boundaries. This latest remix with Sean Paul is yet another reminder of her versatility and ability to bridge cultures through music.
