There are hundreds of thousands of animals up for adoption in South Africa; many organisations use creative ways to get their animals noticed and we just love Woodrock’s styling.

Gauteng, South Africa (01 June 2022) – Woodrock Animal Rescue was founded in 1992 by Nicholas and Stella, whose focus, passion and drive afforded their animal rescue vision to become a reality.

The Woodrock Animal Rescue centre originated in the suburban area of Woodmead and Khyber Rock, hence the name Woodrock, but they are now based on 8.5 hectares in the beautiful Hennops River Valley.

The organisation has worked hard to rehome as many dogs as possible. To do this, they give their rescues makeovers so they can put their best paws forward. The animal rescue has shared its latest group of hopeful pups on social media, and they are adorable. Many of them cannot help but smile.

The photo above is of Rupert, a male Chinese Crested of around 4 years old. Cute!

Not only do they rehome dogs, but they also have a shelter for cats. You can see all their adoptees via the Facebook page here. There are some magnificent cats currently in their care.

The organisation is hosting a collection drive to collect much-needed items, these include puppy pellets, dog toys, wet puppy food, tins of dog food, dry dog food and blankets. You can also join them on the 16th of June 2022 for the Puppy Open Day. You will get the chance to meet all the dogs and cats up for adoption.

As for the dogs, they are wearing the height of fashion in the latest adoption reveal. Take a look below. There are many more dogs that are up for adoption, so to see the entire album, check out Facebook here.
