Let’s flood our beloved Ndlovu Youth Choir with best wishes and luck before their final performance on America’s Got Talent.
Hollywood, United States – Earlier this year, the Ndlovu Youth Choir set off to the United States to audition for America’s Got Talent. The talented group dreamt big, and today they are rejoicing as they prepare for their final performance on the show.
Their first audition went viral and had many South Africans in tears with their magnificent performance. It had everyone bubbling with pride. If you missed it, you can watch the audition here.
The youth choir first came to the attention of the South African public in 2018. They performed an isiZulu cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” during an interview on Jacaranda’s breakfast show. Since then, everything they have done has inspired the country.
Since their first audition for America’s Got Talent, the Ndlovu Youth Choir has also inspired the American public who have voted for them each time, pushing them through to the final show.
Now the choir are practising their hearts out to make us proud one final time. All we can say is that no matter if they win or not, our hearts are beaming, and we cannot wait to celebrate their return back home. Take a look at their practise sessions below.
Important note for all our South African expats living in the USA, please remember to vote. The show airs on Tuesday at 17:00 PST (Wed 02:00 AM – SA time).
“We’re giving our everything to take our performance to the next level and the hours of rehearsals are paying off big time! We can’t wait to unleash the energy and excitement that has built up over the past two weeks.”
