Barack Obama tweeted a famous Nelson Mandela quote to condemn the racism being spewed by American Neo-Nazis and made history on Twitter.
The American people have been facing some really sad and regressive behaviour because of a group of emboldened men and women that believe their lives are superior to others. These people are the vile neo-nazis that have been spewing hatred and violence towards everyone that doesn’t fit the mold of their perfect ideal.
In 2017 it is shocking to watch the news and see so much hate splashed across our screens. Thankfully wherever there are haters and racists there are also others who share love, understanding and respect.
Barack Obama recently tweeted in response to the horrific incidents that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. He simply quoted a famous Nelson Mandela quote, one that we have shared on Good Things Guy many times too.
The quote was tweeted in 3 pieces and has since broken records and made history as being the ‘most liked’ tweet ever! The first tweet received over 2.4 million likes, the second got just over a million and the final tweet got around 900,000. (Correct at time of publishing)
