Bell Pottinger

Bell Pottinger is under some heavy fire at the moment and things are not looking too good for them. PRCA may strip their membership, this is pure justice!

We have tried to keep you all up-to-date with what has been going on with Bell Pottinger. If you have not heard the latest you will love this update.

The DA lodged a complaint with PRCA, accusing Bell Pottinger of trying to stir racial tension in South Africa through campaigns for the Gupta-owned Oakbay.

The last we posted, the DA had confirmed that a disciplinary hearing would be taking place at the Public Relations and Communications Association. Because PRCA upheld the DA’s complaint, it means that the association has agreed that the public relations firm did indeed violate its ethical code.

If the PRCA board agree with the disciplinary committee’s decision to uphold the complaint, Bell Pottinger could have its membership with the association revoked.

The PR agency has five days to appeal the ruling and the final decision will be announced by the PRCA’s board in early September. Let’s hope South Africa can have some good news and receive the justice it deserves.

The DA are urging the firm to use the funds from the Gupta’s to invest it into the upliftment of South Africa.

We reiterate our call for #BellPottinger to disclose all Gupta contracts & monies from their accounts with the Guptas & reinvest it into SA.
