beauty and the beast

It’s a song as old as rhyme, but the title track from Beauty and the Beast is getting a grand makeover for its 2017 reboot release.

Disney has just released the full version of Ariana Grande and John Legend singing the title track from the film, which fans first heard a brief snippet from earlier this week when the final trailer for the film was released… and it is even more amazing than we could of hoped for.

Listen below.

The Beauty and the Beast theme was first recorded by Angela Lansbury, who voiced the character of Mrs Potts in the 1991 original. The track was then released as a single by a then-little-known Celine Dion and US singer Peabo Bryson, reaching Number 9 on the Official Singles Chart.

The track went on to win a Golden Globe and a Grammy for Best Original Song.

The new Beauty and the Beast stars Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast. The film hits cinemas worldwide on March 17 and the soundtrack is released the same day.
