A Florida man who was hit by a car during his “#KiKichallenge” still believes it was worth it and can’t stop laughing about the whole situation.
Jaylen Norwood, of Boynton Beach, isn’t upset about what happened during his Kiki Challenge, he believes it was worth it and with almost 3 million views under his belt, apparently so do many people in the world.
First there was planking , then there was flossing… and now we have the “KiKi Challenge”.
A challenge that consists of jumping out of a moving car while dancing along to the Drake song “In My Feelings”, miming a love heart and pretending to drive a car.
And 22 year old Norwood has gone viral after attempting to put his spin on Drake’s song and being hit by his friend.
“All we wanted to do was do the challenge with a twist,” Norwood explained to Kimmel.
“The plan was he was supposed to come slow toward me and I was going to jump on the hood and continue dancing. It went left.”
The live-audience could be heard breaking into hysterics.
“You risked your life for a meme,” Kimmel said. “You realize that, right?”
Norwood told the late-night host via video chat that it was oil that leaked from the car in question that caused him to slip.
“So that oil came out of the car and formed a little puddle and the puddle is what got you hit by the car,” Kimmel said.
The answer from Norwood was simple: “Yes.” While the impact seemed severe, Norwood said he was playing basketball the next day. And the lesson in all of this, he told Kimmel: “Wear tennis shoes.”
