Nando’s USA recently started sharing posters and pictures on their Instagram in solidarity to everyone!
Nando’s is notorious for running campaigns that hit political nerves or have us holding our bellies while we laugh along with them! Nando’s opened its first American branch in 2008 in Washington D.C. and currently has over 30 restaurants located in 4 different states.
Recently Nando’s USA posted a video on their Instagram to show America that they supported everyone. They also donated 50% of all profits made on the 20th and 21st of January.
“At a time when people apply labels in inflammatory ways, we wanted to be clear that everyone is and always will be welcome. Even if you’ve never sat at one of our tables, you’re welcome to stand with us.”
“We’re all about firing the senses, but also feeding the soul. On January 20 and 21, we will donate 50% of the net proceeds from our six DC locations to DC Central Kitchen, which is helping to break the cycle of hunger in Washington.”
The video made people really happy.
“Even though I live in Iowa, I couldn’t agree more! Awesome message and awesome way to be inclusive for all”- austinblankman
“And that is why we need you here in Seattle!” – kindred.spirits.of.cascades
The posters done by Nando’s are available to be downloaded by members of the public to be displayed wherever they feel necessary.
