Shaming women’s bodies doesn’t make you a man, by the looks of it, bru, not even supplements can.

South Africa (20 September 2020) – Donovan Tooth has become a household name in South Africa after his Instastory body-shaming women went viral.

Tooth put out the Instastory on Thursday the 17th of September where he spent almost 4 minutes lambasting women and their weight. The post was then shared to Twitter and Facebook where it went viral. 24 hours later and Tooth put out a public apology “from the bottom of his heart”.

But the damage was already done, and women and men across the globe have used their social media platforms to stand up against the bullying and abuse that was shown in Tooth’s actions.

Juliette Pauling – an actress from Cape Town – also become a household name during the lockdown, but for all the right reasons. Pauling turned her time locked away into a creative and original series featuring herself as a family of three living through the lockdown.

Although the series focuses on how the family are surviving the lockdown, it also features all the trends of the times, from baking banana bread and TikTok videos to getting healthy, social media challenges and combatting boredom.

And now one of her characters is going viral for the poem he has written to Donovan Tooth.

Donovan tooth I don’t know you oke.
But I saw your vid and thought it was a joke.

You shamed our powerhouses that give us life,
Your sister, your mother, or god forbid your wife.

Shaming women’s bodies doesn’t make you a man,
By the looks of it, bru not even supplements can.

Take you’re puffed up body and words of hurt.
Your weak apology and throw it in the dirt.

Cause that’s what you offered, its dirt when you speak.
Our women aren’t chubby, lazy or weak.

Boy educate yourself because there’s something you missed.
Not only the women but the men too are pissed.

‘bitch get on a treadmill’ I think that’s what you said.
Inspired choice of words, you pecker head.

Remember this next time you wanna sing your song…
Our women aren’t only beautiful, but jussis they’re strong.
