The South African Government posted an incredibly inappropriate tweet… they have since deleted it but the internet never forgets.

The official South African government twitter laughed hysterically while quoting Julius Malema’s tweet, where he outlined what had happened to him at the State of the Nation Address (SONA)

SONA 2017 ran an hour and a half late after the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) were again forcefully ejected from the National Assembly, guests were pepper sprayed and the Democratic Alliance (DA) and Agang MPs staged a walkout.

Malema took to twitter to describe the violence he had been though.

“The bastard is squeezing my balls yeses, they always go for my balls this white shirts. They do this all the time, hai. No retreat fighters”

Within minutes of his tweet, the Government expressed their feelings on the matter but quickly deleted their response. Problem is… the internet never forgets.

Screen grabs of the original post are being shared rapidly on social media with many expressing their disgust.

South African governemnt tweet

The Government quickly followed up the ‘faux pas’ with an apology stating that they believe that any form of violence is unacceptable… it just seems that they find it really, really funny.
