They also get to interview some of the OCAL group – a team of 10 ordinary runners and 2 hand cyclists who took on an incredible challenge of running from CT to JHB. They did this to raise awareness and also funds to assist 2 individuals who have suffered spinal cord injuries.
Their focus is provide them with the necessary medical resources, much needed rehabilitation, getting the right wheelchair and taking them on board as the core team members of the 2018 journey.
Plus Kelly McGillivray from “a night of 1000 drawings” pops in to tell us about the amazing annual unique fundraising exhibition where drawings donated by anyone and everyone, are collected and sold to the public for charity!
They also catch up with the CEO Sympathy Sleepout for an update and to see who’s signed up already.
