Cape Town, South Africa – Kim Hansen is an Estate Agent in the Western Cape who has lots of helpful experience to sell or rent out a home. She never imagined that some of her experience would help her bring a baby into this world.

Kim was showing a house in Table View when an expecting mother who works on the property, went into labour. Kim drew on her experience as a veterinary nurse to help the mother. The mother was as surprised about the baby arrival as everyone else; she had no idea she was even pregnant.

“Kim got a pair of hair dye gloves from the family and delivers this baby. She cuts the cord and deals with the afterbirth and everything – with her veterinary nursing experience. That is just who Kim is….. fearless!!!!!!” – Trust Property

The agency where Kim works shared the incredible story on their Facebook page. Along with it, they have asked people to assist them in providing for the new bundle of joy.

According to the agency, the mom has very little, and they would like to make a difference in her life. They have opened their office for people to drop off donations for her and the baby. They asked for the following,

“The new Mommy is in dire need of financial assistance – so if you want to contribute money, food, clothing for baby (and mommy), diapers ANYTHING you can.. airtime, bus units, dr appointment, ANYTHING … PLEASE PLEASE contact Jenni or Kim or drop off at the new Trust Property office. Our new offices are unit 4, village square, 2 village place parklands. Next to the super spar in Parklands main.”

Kim happened to be in the right place at the right time. While she may be a property agent, she has a few useful skills in her back pocket, which make us think she is a special agent. Great job Kim!
