The Angel Network Telethon has been an outstanding success with the team of volunteers raising R2.8 million within 48 hours – The money will be used to educate, nourish, uplift and upskill people in need.

South Africa (30 May 2023) – The Angel Network did it! They raised 112% of their goal, meaning they well surpassed R2.5 million and reached a total of just over R2.8 million.

The Angel Network supports over 200 000 people in South Africa by working closely with over 150 non-profit organisations and outreach centres. The organisation is committed to investing in children so that the world around them can ultimately benefit.

Every year, the Angel Network touches thousands of lives. They do this by raising funds to cover their various projects. This year they planned for their biggest fundraiser yet, to raise R2.5 million in 48 hours. The best part is that companies and organisations have committed to matching every donation so they can double up on the goodness!

The organisation has spent the last few years feeding millions of South Africans and foreign nationals by supplying food parcels, stocking soup kitchen pantries and supplying funding to smaller organisations working on the ground in the poorest communities in South Africa.

The Angel Network not only helps sustain feeding schemes, but they have also continued their efforts to help wherever needed. They educate, uplift and upskill people too!

The goal to raise R2.5 million was a worthy one and will go a very long way in saving lives and uplifting people. We love the work the team does and often share the heartwarming stories about the work they do.

With another successful telethon done, the team is ready to hit the ground running and action change. Stay tuned for update or check out their Facebook page here or the interactive Facebook group here.
