Four animal welfare organisations sent letters to JacarandaFM asking for help feeding their animals over the festive season so they made it happen.

Johannesburg, South Africa (15 December 2020) – Animal welfare organisations always need a helping hand come the festive season. The thing they often need most is food for all the animals.

The Jacaranda FM Good Morning Angels received four pleas for help and they decided to put the call out to get help.

Animal Angels Gauteng, who source food donations for SPCA’s and are based in Centurion, Woodrock Animal Rescue based on the R511 between Fourways and Hartebeespoort, Little Paws Big Hearts Animal NPC based in Secunda and Animal One Stop based in Akasia, Pretoria North were all hoping for a little helping hand before the festive season. Each organisation wrote in to the Good Morning Angels team and all four got a surprise.

Cat Box Pet Hyper headed the call and offered to donate 3000kg (3 ton) of their house brand ‘Heritage View Premium adult dog food’, as well as 1000kg (1 ton) of their House brand ‘Heritage View adult cat food’ to the organisations.

The donation will bring some much-needed festive cheer to the animals under the care of each organisation and relief to all those working to protect the animals, raise funds and find them homes.
