BlitzBokke

The BlitzBokke walked through a children’s hospital spreading cheer and singing “In the Jungle” from the Lion King, it is so heartwarming

The BlitzBokke are currently in New Zealand for the World Rugby Sevens series and while taking a break from training for the Hamilton leg of the series. They will be playing on the 26th and 27th this weekend (New Zealand time).

We did a quick check and found some helpful info about the games for South Africans who want to watch. Note, brew that coffee strong because it is going to be a late one… damn time-zones

The first game will air at 23:22pm on the 25th against Kenya, then the early hours of the 26th against France, at 03:10am. If you want to catch the matches when you wake up rather, SA vs. Scotland takes place at 07:22am on the 26th.

We will have to see how those matches go before we know how Sunday is going to go.

Before all the maddness starts, the team set off to the Waikato Hospital in Hamilton to sing for all the children and nurses. They walked in singing “A Lion Sleeps Tonight” made famous by the Lion King. They then joked around in the halls before going into the wards to sing for the children.
