A Facebook video has gone viral for all the right reasons! A good samaritan met a young man who looked like he needed help, and offered to buy him anything he wanted.

And the post is inspiring so many South Africans with the beautiful act of kindness.

Generous hearts make all the difference sometimes. One man proved this by helping out a Zimbabwean wandering around in a local store. The boy was wearing old clothes and worn shoes, looking to buy food with the little money he had.

A man came forward and asked him a few questions. The boy explained he was from Zimbabwe so the man told him to choose anything he wanted from the shop. BI Phakathi, a motivational speaker, shared the video and confirmed that the man behind the camera was someone named Malcolm X. He regularly visits universities and the poor to hand out funding for food.

He redistributes his wealth to make sure that those in need, also get a helping hand. The video has gone viral and the young boy felt truly blessed by the encounter.

“He has been dishing out money to the poor and students like Father Christmas. His name is Malcolm X and he has been changing the narrative on giving to the poor. He is not giving food parcels only but cash at hand.” – BI Phakathi

“We are running short of people who can stand with those who are in need and yet he is one in a million, many lives have been helped through this guy.”

“I know the struggle of going day by day without food on the streets begging. I know the struggle of being in varsity without financial help or food. Most students are struggling out there and they need serious financial help. Malcolm has been making a difference in all these people in every chance he gets. I would like to salute this man and many more who will follow his leadership. Sometimes you don’t need to worry about what will people say just do what God told you to do, Malcolm is a rare breed of genius.” (Sic)

Malcolm X told the young boy to get whatever he wanted, so the boy asked for two pieces of chicken. Malcolm then showed him that he meant ANYTHING and ordered two pieces of every kind of chicken. He then took the boy around the shop and got him snacks, hygiene products and even a soccer ball.

The boy pushed his trolley out the store and the staff all cheered. Malcolm then arranged for a taxi to take the boy home. Malcolm X wanders the streets of Johannesburg to distribute his wealth to young and old.
