Brent Lindeque announced as one of the most influential South Africans of 2018!

Brent Lindeque, our resident Good Things Guy has just been named the 4th most Inspirational South African of 2018!

 

Johannesburg, South Africa – We are beaming with pride because our team leader, editor-in-chief and founder of Good Things Guy, Brent Lindeque has just won the top title in the category of “Social Enterprise and Philanthropy”.

The leading PR and rating agency – Avance Media in partnership with 1000 African Voices and VIPI State (Avenva) have announced the winners for the 3rd edition of the prestigious ranking of young professionals dubbed the “100 Most Influential Young South Africans.” 

According to Prince Akpah, MD of Avance Media, this year’s list features a record of 50 females and 50 males who have made remarkable contributions towards their respective fields which have extended impact to other young people across South Africa and beyond.

Olympic gold medallist Caster Semenya was named the 2018 most influential South African. The athlete was nominated in the sports category for her achievements.

Previously the ranking which was launched in 2016 has been won by Comedian and TV Personality Trevor Noah (2016) and Spokesperson of Economic Freedom Fighters, Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi (2017) who were voted as the Most Influential Young South Africans in their respective years.

Hot on her heels in the top five include Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, Nomzamo Mbatha, Brent Lindeque and Zincedile Tiya and thanks to all the support of our incredible readers, Brent was listed 4th on the list as one of South Africa’s most influential people in 2018.

He went on to win the top award in the “Social Enterprise and Philanthropy” category and has been named as the 4th most influential South African for 2018.”
