People are buying bricks to save 200 animals from losing their home

The Change for Better Foundation is a pro-life rescue organisation that is about to lose their farm but people are buying bricks to help them keep it.

In the past two and a half years, the foundation has turned their farm into a home for hundreds of animals. They house 250 animals, who have been rescued from severe conditions. They have given the animals a chance by treating them, rehabilitating them and hopefully one day finding them a forever home.

“Our animals live here, our adoption facility is here, our community shop that helps us raise funds is here, our sterilisation clinic is here and our hearts are here.”

The owner of the farm has put it up for sale meaning that if the foundation can’t buy the farm by the end of the December, they have to leave.

“Without this farm, we have nothing and nowhere to go. Our 250 animals will once again be homeless. The impoverished surrounding community can no longer come to us and ask us for help with their animals.

Let’s fight, let’s do it for the animals. Let’s not let them down and let’s save their home!”

The foundation not only caters to the needs of their own rescue animals, they also work with the community. They offer animal clinic services to the less fortunate and provide education classes to the community to help with animal care. The foundation also runs a charity shop to help funds for their community outreach as well and offer affordable items to those within the communities.

“We need to sell one brick to 100 000 people in order to raise enough funds to buy our farm and collect enough bricks to build the wall around our farm.”

This is how to join people in buying bricks to save the farm.

Buy a brick for R50.
You will have the option to have your brick personalised with your name engraved on it. You also have the option to dedicate your brick to a late/special family member or your very own pet. There is no limit to the amount of bricks that you would like to purchase.

School competition time!
All schools in South Africa may take part in our competition.
The school that sells the most bricks wins a whopping R20 000, second prize R5000 and third prize R2500.

On top of this, any businesses can buy a wall for R5000, with the option to brand it for visible advertising on our busy roads. Help us save our shelter. Help us save our farm.
