An unnamed bus driver in Argentina performed an act of kindness for two stray dogs during a severe thunderstorm.
The story of one man’s kindness was witnessed by a stranger on the bus and shared with the world. The Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires, was hit with a massive storm. The city was rattled with thunderstorms and left soaking wet.
The passenger on the bus was surprised when the bus driver passed two terrified, cold dogs and stopped the bus. The dogs were huddled and shivering, unprotected and out in the open. The driver got off the bus, picked the dogs up and carried them onto the warm and sheltered bus.
The passenger on the bus was overwhelmed and completely touched by the driver’s compassion and kindness towards the stray dogs.
“They were two very scared little dogs,” witness Stella Maris San Martín said, as quoted by Minuto Uno. “He never tried to put them off. He spoke to them like they were his own.”
One of the dogs was so thankful for the warmth he went and curled up with the driver.
“It’s unclear if the driver picked up more stray dogs as he continued on his route, or what happened after the ride finally ended — but for his gesture of love for those needy pups, the unnamed bus operator is being called a hero.”
The Facebook post has been shared over 10,000 times and the bus company is urging the driver to come forward as they feel these actions were heroic, calling it a show of solidarity.
We hope that where ever the driver is now, he knows that he has inspired many people with his kind actions.
