Tokai, South Africa (17 February 2020) – Nazley Du Plooy shared an update with her community that left everyone feeling inspired. The news was about Omar, a former car guard from the Steenberg Village.
Omar worked as a car guard to make ends meet. He saved all his tips in the hopes of buying a car for himself one day. Omar was an integral part of the parking lot that he watched over and made many connections with the shoppers whose vehicles he watched over.
One day Omar stopped coming to work, he had accomplished his dream and saved enough for a car. After buying the car, Omar became an Uber driver where he now earns more than ever before. Many shoppers noticed his absence and always wondered what happened to him. Many learned of his success via Nazley’s post.

Below is a pic of friendly Omar that some of you might recognize, he was the car guard at the Woolies side of Reddam/Steenberg Village. Omar worked rainy and sunshine days with a smile on his face. He saved all the tips to buy a beautiful car and is now an Uber Driver. My heart is overjoyed by what he has managed to achieve and I wish him all of the best in his new venture.”
