“It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay. If you’re lost, we’re all a little lost and it’s alright.” – Nightbirde
Global (08 March 2022) – Nightbirde – America’s Got Talent star who captivated the hearts of the world – passed away at the age of 31 after a lengthy battle with cancer, but her story has inspired millions globally.
She first shared her story on America’s Got Talent when she auditioned and had us all awed by her beautiful voice and powerful lyrics. She entered the talent show to share her passion for poetry and songwriting.
Nightbirde, whose name is Jane Marczewski, battled aggressive cancer with grace and pure honesty. She was given a 2% chance to live back in June 2021, or in a time frame, around six months. Despite her pain and exhaustion, Jane went on to try to follow her dreams and last wishes.
Her song “It’s Okay” was the story of her cancer battle and the last year of her life. During her audition on America’s Got Talent, she explained to the judges that she was okay but had cancer in her spine, lungs, and liver. An indication of an advanced stage of cancer.
Jane hoped people would understand that she was so much more than the bad things happening in her life.
After outliving her given time, Jane spread her wings and left us feeling heartbroken on the 22nd of February but also inspired us all to keep going when times are hardest.
On the 4th of March 2022, the family live-streamed her celebration of life with the world.

The Marczewski family is raising funds in honour of Jane to create a memorial foundation to donate to cancer research and give grants/support to those who may be unable to afford the treatment they need. The proceeds from this fund will be used to honour Jane’s memory by allowing her dream and inspiration to impact millions of others.
