Johannesburg, South Africa (31 January 2020) – The 12:12:12 challenge is seeing people lose weight for charity. The goal is to lose 12kgs and 12cm in 12 weeks. Glynne and Sharon from The Angel Network team have taken on a challenge to raise money for different organisations supporting children and adults living with disabilities.

The ladies are dedicated to charity work and hope this challenge will not only improve their own lives but the lives of so many others.

They will be supporting the following charities:

  • Forest Town School for Children with Disabilities,
  • Lefika La Phodiso Community Art Counselling Centre in Braamfontein,
  • Siyathanda Stimulation Centre in Springs
  • Autism SA. All donations received will be used to provide skills, resources and learning materials for these beneficiaries.

Sharon and Glynne are starting the challenge on the 1st of February and it will end on the 25th of April. Each week they will share their progress. The charities will send them weekly motivational videos to push them through the 12 weeks.

They made the announcement yesterday and were blown away by the support they received.

“We are thrilled to say that within 3 hours of posting our DIET TO DONATE video, we had raised R24 000!!!! (And will receive it for people with disabilities WHEN we reach our goal). Please donate. No amount is too small or too big and every cent counts”
