One SMALL Act of Kindness shared the happy news and thanks after being able to send Thobile, who was involved in a car accident, back home to East London.

Randburg, South Africa (10 July 2023) – The One SMALL Act of Kindness team shared a follow-up story to show how donations change lives. They had put out a plea to get help for Thobile who is recovering from an accident and needed to get home to East London.

Thobile was involved in a car accident that left him unable to work. Coming from East London but working in Gauteng, he suddenly found himself stuck and unable to return home. One SMALL Act of Kindness reached out to offer help and thanks to supporters, was able to purchase a bus ticket to get Thobile home.

The team was blown away by the support they received in their effort to help Thobile. They share their thanks to everyone who helped.

“This is Thobile. He was involved in a car accident and desperately needed to get home to East London so that he could retrieve his file and go & see the Doctor on the 20th July. As a result of his injuries he had no income since the accident.

WELL….YOUR donations made this possible OSAOK ARMY. Thobile is now able to go home, get treated & claim a disability grant to that he can feed his family again. We were also able to afford him some groceries & toiletries♡

This is how much we and EVERYONE under our wings rely on YOU guys! Our support, our sponsors, our volunteers & our staff members.

This is truly giving a hand up & not a hand out. ♡

Well done & thank you OSAOK ARMY!!!!”

Serving Soup

With the weather in Gauteng absolutely freezing, the OSARK team is hoping to make big batches of soup to feed those who find themselves without warmth or a hearty meal. They aim to do this, this very afternoon so if you can help, please see their urgent plea for support here.

A warm meal makes all the difference on very cold days!
