Panga the Rottweiler is a missing dog, and the local community are doing everything to find him; even lighting candles in prayer for his safe return.

South Africa (18 February 2021) – From pilots taking to the sky to radio presenters sharing the message, everyone is lending a helping hand to find Panga the Rottweiler. For those that are too far away from where Panga went missing, they have taken to praying for his return.

The Rottweiler South Africa community has been a great support to Sterretjie and Unja, the parents of Panga. Since he went missing there have been people searching high and low using drones, horses, quad bikes and even a small aircraft.

Even the farm workers who have grown to love Panga and his protective nature, have been forming search parties and visiting nearby empty farms to make sure he isn’t stuck somewhere.

Many people have not been able to join the search parties because they live too far away. To make up for that, people have been lighting candles and saying prayers for the family and for Panga’s safety.

Without the support of the community, the family would be so lost. You can follow Panga’s story via Facebook here. If you are able to assist in any way, you can reach out to the family.
