A couple got engaged at a KFC somewhere in South Africa, the video was shared to the franchise head, and now South Africa are looking for the happy fiancés.

South Africa – A couple have gone viral for getting engaged, and now everyone is looking for them. They are currently trending on Twitter, and KFC South Africa are hoping to connect with them!

Several big brands in South Africa have joined the search leading us to believe that this pair are going to be spoiled beyond their wildest dreams.

Already photographers have stepped forward to offer the couple their services free of charge, and local celebrities are wanting to MC their wedding.

The reason the Tweet has gone viral is that it started out with people laughing at the man for proposing to his girlfriend at KFC over some fried chicken. The Twitter trolls were quickly silenced by the hopeless romantics who defended the couple and encouraged their love.

In a world where life gets more expensive by the minute, it is essential to remember that a marriage isn’t about the destination proposal, the big diamond ring and the lavish wedding. Those materialistic things, while lovely, don’t make a good marriage. People should never judge another person’s proposal story because, at the end of the day, it is all done with love and with the goal of spending the rest of your life with someone.

As you know, we are suckers for proposal stories, and this one had us blubbering first thing this morning! Take a look at the proposal below and if you know them, tell them to connect with all the people looking for them. Let’s spread the love!

“What a beautiful couple. May they be blessed with a lifetime of love and happiness.” – @GailLutz

“At the end of the day it’s the thought that counts, this is beautiful.” – @Nyiko2690

“They found love in a finger-licking-good place.” – @AMG133

Total South Africa want to fuel the happy couple’s next adventure. FNB has also jumped on board to gift the couple some money and Black Coffee wants to pay for a suit for the groom.

UPDATE!!!!!

The couple has been found!
