Cupcakes for Kids with Cancer is back for Mandela Day; Can you bake 67 cupcakes and raise R670 for one child? This is how to join this worthy event.

South Africa (04 July 2022) – Every year, Cupcakes of Hope host various Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer campaigns where they raise funds by selling donated cupcakes. This year, for Mandela Day, they have challenged businesses to bake 67 cupcakes and sell them to raise R670.00 for a child with cancer.

Every year, Cupcakes of Hope aims to raise over R2 million to help with the monthly costs associated with the medical treatment and related expenses of over 230 families affected by childhood cancer that belong to the Cupcakes of Hope family.

Cupcakes of Hope is Non-Profit and Public Benefit Organisation, dedicated to raising funds to assist not only the financial and emotional needs of the warriors and their families fighting the disease, but also to help drive awareness about early cancer detection in children, through the love of baking.

With Mandela Day around the corner, there is a simple way to help raise funds. Simply bake 67 cupcakes, individuals and teams are welcome, then sell them for R10 each and raise R670 for one child. The funds go a long way in making the battle against cancer a smoother one. Once you have raised the R670, you can donate it directly to Cupcakes of Hope.

“The funds raised will go towards nutritional meals, medicine, nappies and travel expenses of our little cancer fighters. Last month Cupcakes of HOPE financially assisted more than 230 patients and we see that the need is growing at an alarming rate.

The youngest of our beneficiaries is only 5 months old.
