The Diepsloot Residence Association has been creating magic, working hard to revive their town from crimes.
Gauteng, South Africa (22 July 2021) – Diepsloot Residence Association, a Non-Political alliance, was formed with the intention of reviving Diepsloot as a crime-free township again.
True to their intentions, they have now initiated a movement. Working with the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police department (JMPD) and the Rulldta taxi drivers and commuters, they have managed to identify and catch some of the looters who had raided the Bambanani Mall in Diepsloot illegally, causing quite the chaos among the citizens.
They have been working hard on the ground for this, spending a lot of time and sweat to make sure all the stolen goods are returned safely. Anyone can judge a place with the crimes that happen there, but it takes a true and brave heart to try and make it a better place.
Citizens of Diepsloot are delighted with this change that has been taking place in recent times. The hashtag #WeWillNotLetSABurn has been trending on social media and has captured the attention of many people around the globe.
In a way, this incident has not only inspired but has also managed to instigate a sense of patriotism and hope in people to work for their society in whatever ways they can, creating some change in the world. The difference might be small or big, but it will make this world a better place for future people.
When all seems wrong in the world, it gives us hope to see that there are people doing right thing. Many people in Diepsloot are saying “not on my watch”. #looting #WeWillNotLetSABurn #Diepsloot2030 #GoodNewsStories pic.twitter.com/DPBD6IKlSH
